BOB AND PATSY
BAILEY, professionally, community boosters, Realtors and family....
It
seem we always start a description of who we are by
bragging about our nine grandchildren, a blessing from our seven
children, all living in California. Five of our children live in Southern
California and two live in the Sacramento area. California has been our home since 1969, having lived in
Redondo Beach and Palos Verdes Estates before we came to
Lake
Arrowhead full time in
1989. We designed and built the home we live in west of the lake.
Patsy was born in Dallas and Bob in Chicago. Patsy attended
SMU and worked in the Dallas School Administration for many years. She has
been a member of Soroptomists here in Lake
Arrowhead. Her mom, Olive, whom many folks know,
left Dallas
and came to California to live in Grandview Towers in 1996. She is 99 now in good
health and living nearby, on her own, though Patsy keeps a close watch for her mom’s
needs.
Bob spent most of his adult life as a sales and
marketing consultant, has an MBA from Pepperdine
University and a
Behavior Science degree from USC. Bob has been active in the Rotary,
Arrowhead Arts Assn, Chamber and other community services. In the early
1970s, Bob was a consultant to the real estate industry traveling coast to
coast. During this time he was Editor / Publisher of Multiple Listing Books
for 96 cities; which included
Lake
Arrowhead during those
years. At the moment, Fall 2008, Bob is President of the Mountain
Sunrise Rotary for 2008 and 2009.
For fun we ski, garden, remodel homes, read, travel and baby-sit our
grandchildren, though some are getting too old for that. We attend
and have been members of Church of the Woods since the founding in 1984. Each of
us held Deacon positions for many years. Bob continues with a Church of the
Woods men’s group, early every Saturday morning. Patsy serves as a
wedding consultant as needed and is involved in Women’s ministry.
Coldwell Banker Sky Ridge Realty has been a large part of our life since
1989. Bob is a Broker Associate, having listed or sold near 1000 homes in Lake Arrowhead.
Patsy remembers practically every home she has ever been in, and
specializing in serving vacation home buyers. In this mountain resort
community – where memories are made - a mile closer to heaven. We have the
pleasure to work with such fine folks here at CBSRR that we call them
friends and they feel like family. We have enjoyed working with nearly
every real estate agent on the mountain, the pleasure of a small town.
This is about our lifestyle rather that seeking applause. We won’t list the
many awards we have been given by CBSRR and national recognition for our
real estate achievements but we’re very proud of our work and the great team
we are part of. The real measure of success is with clients who select us
again and again and the referrals to their friends – the highest compliment.
