THERE IS JOY ABOVE THE CLOUDS FOR ARROWHEAD WOODS HOME VALUES.
I’m not presenting Arrowhead Woods through rose colored glasses. But CONSUMER SENTIMENT has slipped since mid-2015. Economists however, still maintain a positive view on housing. The Fed outlook for the balance of the year (and here on the mountain I believe) remains modestly optimistic. Our goal for Lake Arrowhead is to keep in step.
There was cause for uncertainty as mountain real estate sales began 2016 a bit slow. We shared the decline of consumer confidence from late 2015 into 2016 – for the first two months.
The recent upturn in 2016 seen on the far right, gave local owners a sales and price burst. Adding to the pleasure is the rise of Lake Arrowhead inventory to 290 home listings, now climbing by 20 and more homes a week. More choices bring more shoppers.
At this time, record low interest rates are the strongest draw to buyers looking for a bargain. What’s better than the same vacation home, at the same price, and a lower monthly payment. Uncertainty? New President, Congress and economy. Buyers seize the moment!

Arrowhead Woods is unique, with only 7800 homeowners having their own private lake. Over 75% are vacation homes.
Price comparisons to your home area can be hard to figure out. It’s not the same as a mountain home, one or two hours away.
