Two breakthroughs in the first month of 2017 for Lake Arrowhead.
1. The lowest inventory in more than 30 years, 199 listings in Arrowhead Woods.
2. The highest, median sale price breakout at $500,000 in January 2017.
Spring 2017 could have the solution. If inventory doubles to 400 plus homes for sale, high buyer demand should sustain or increase prices for months, more likely all of 2017. Happy home shoppers, happy home sellers. However, if sellers hold back, there is not enough selection to push prices much higher.
The next few years defy forecasters; new Administration, new Congress, new tax laws, new Supreme Court, new mortgage rates, new, new, new! The closest thing to ‘knowable’ is 2017 is looking up.
