Arrowhead Woods real estate market is perking up.
Our mountain housing market is gaining traction after a shaky start to the year. The median price in June at $390,000 is comparable to April and May of 2014 which then slipped away into a mediocre 2014. Th chart data illustrates the third upswing in 2015 with May and June raising sales and prices. Enjoying the moment, we have the strongest upturn in 25 months.
Arrowhead Woods is building on a modest inventory of 371 homes for sale, pushing up prices and sales. Year over year, the price per square foot for six months has picked up 10% over last year from $168 to $185 per SqFt.
The improving national economy has a more rapid drumbeat for higher interest rates. We may be experiencing the public desire to get a piece of heaven in Lake Arrowhead before mortgage rates rise.
